Sudah lama sekali saya tidak membaca.

Buku Three Kingdoms, courtesy of Mita, sudah saya baca berbulan-bulan, dan sampai sekarang belum selesai. Okelah, saya sudah selesai membaca Volume 2, dari total 4 volume, tapi itu 2 bulan yang lalu. 2 Bulan terakhir kok rasanya saya tidak lagi pernah membaca. Dan sudah tentu pula, sudah lama tidak membeli buku. Buku terakhir yang saya beli, A Thousand Splendid Suns-nya Khalid Hosseini, dan sepertinya itu sudah beberapa bulan yang lalu. Kacau. Sepertinya saya terlalu banyak menonton film belakangan ini.

Bicara soal membaca, saya termasuk tipe pembaca selintas. Membaca buku sekali, cepat namun tidak terlalu detil, dan akibatnya lupa detil, walaupun umumnya saya tau kurang lebih garis besar buku yang saya baca. Beberapa teman bilang, cara membaca saya aneh, karena umumnya teman-teman yang membaca adalah orang-orang detil, dan mereka suka mengolok-olok ketika saya lupa detil dari buku yang saya baca . But hey, saya membaca untuk refreshing. Baca saat itu, dan kalau sudah selesai baca, ya lupa.

Tadi malam saya melihat pertandingan Piala Thomas Indonesia vs Thailand. Walaupun Indonesia menang 3-2, terus terang saja penampilan Taufik Hidayat bagi saya sangat mengecewakan. Apalagi karena kekalahannya lebih banyak disebabkan kesalahan sendiri (unforced error kalau kata para komentator olahraga). Seperti menonton pemain pemula rasanya.
